HTC Sensation XE Review

HTC has been developing high end smartphones with impressive specifications for all kind of users lately. One of the most innovative high end phones in this regard happens to be HTC Sensation XE, which can be considered an improved version of HTC Sensation, particularly with respect to audio performance. With the audio enhancement, we can consider this set to be the best with respect to audio performance.

Talking about the technical specifications of this phone, it would be coming with a powerful 1.5 GHz processor with 3rd generation dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. A distinguishing feature of this phone would be the introduction of Beats audio which clearly gives the audio quality of this device an edge over other smartphones in the market. The Beats Audio in-ear headphones, Wall charger, a microUSB, replacement buds of different sizes and Beats Audio headphones pouch are included with the complete package. For the time being, there isn’t any official announcement of the device to be released under any of theUScarriers and it is available for purchase only in the SIM-free form. But the phone is compatible with AT&T network and can also work with T-Mobile without 3G connectivity. There is a massive 8 mega pixel rare end camera on the device with the features of LED flash, auto focus and HD video recording at 1080p.

There have been some changes made by HTC in the design and physical structure of the phone. The most evident is the change in the color which is red for this device. All the hardware features of the phone such as ear speaker grill, the camera ring, and the capacitive buttons are red in color. Due to the use of the Beats audio, there is a Beats Audio logo on the back side of the phone. The size of the phone is same compared to the original HTC Sensation. This phone would come with a 4.3 inch of LCD display having screen resolution of 540×960 pixels. The unibody aluminum chassis of the screen protects it from scratches and is quite effective. Besides, the screen has a pixel density of about 256ppi which is pretty impressive. Traditional RGB matrix has been utilized to achieve this screen density. The operating system for this device happens to be Android 2.3 Gingerbread which is brilliant to use in conjunction with the Sense UI 4.0 of HTC. Overall, this device has certainly got a lot of features that we can look forward to.
