HTC One X, available in AT&T for the US market!

The international version of HTC One X has been consistently receiving high praise and critical acclaim, and the device has now also come to AT&T. Although there are a few changes between the international version and the one available for the US market, overall both devices are among the finest in the market. A main difference that we would find in the handset for US market is that to keep it compatible with the 4G LTE network of AT&T, this one has Qualcomm chipset and CPU, rather than the NVIDIA silicon featured in the globally available smart phone. Other than that, there are a few minor differences in the technical specs of the device.

HTC One X for AT&T would have support for Quad-band GSM and tri-band 3G, other than being compatible with 4G LTE network of AT&T. It would come with 4.7 inch Super LCD 2 capacitive touchscreen having screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Another difference in technical specs compared to the international version is that while 32 GB of internal storage is available in the international version, there is only 16 GB of internal storage capacity for the US market. However, HTC would provide 25 GB of free Dropbox storage for all devices, which pretty much compensates for the memory limitation. Remaining technical specs are pretty much similar between both versions of the handset. We have the same 8 mega pixel rare end camera with 1080p video recording and 720p front facing VGA camera. Just like the international version, the US version also does not have support for microSD card, which means no alternatives in terms of memory. This memory problem can be serious for users who like to indulge in high graphics games since most of the latest graphic intensive video games can reach the mark of 700 MB storage. For such users, memory limit can eventually become a problem. The range of applications found on the international version can also be found in the AT&T model.

But overall, this is nonetheless one of the very best high end devices from HTC that you would see in the US market. While it might be the closest rival of giants like iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S 3, it is certainly worth your budget.
