HTC M7 Flagship available in stores in Europe beginning with March 8th

We discussed a few days ago about HTC M7 launching event announced to take place on February 19 in New York City, right ahead of MWC. Together with confirmation of NYC as the event location for HTC M7 launch, came also the presumptions that HTC flagship will hit first the big Verizon, AT&T and Sprint carriers.

Other anticipations speculate now the releases date of the high-end Android device for March 8th. This date seems to be valid as an early launching of the M7 will help HTC gain ground and also two or three months leeway time ahead Samsung Galaxy S IV.

HTC North Asia President declared last week that the company’s J Butterfly, also known as the Butterfly, and Droid DNA has affected the market share of Samsung. Jack Tong also thinks that Samsung should be worried about HTC unveiling “eye catching products” and setting a “higher standard”.

M7 is expected to be a strong competitor for Samsung Galaxy S I, being the highest pixel density smartphone, with a 4.7″ Full HD screen and incredible eye crystal clear 468ppi. The handset is also likely to be the first one wearing the new modern minimalist design HTC Sense 5.0 UI.

The rumors also estimate March 8th as the date for M7 arrival to Europe and latter on, after testing period, the device will make its way to US big carriers.

As for the design HTC M7 is expected to break European ground in black and silvery white color uni-body aluminum shell. The device features have been also quite confirmed: fast performance Qualcomm APQ8064 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, LTE connectivity and a 13-megapixel-rear camera, all powered by a 2300mAh battery. The handset will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and in terms of connectivity will support LTE connectivity up to 42Mbps and new 802.11-ac wirelesses standard.

As we know before HTC is working with semiconductor and casing suppliers to produce enough components to manufacture 4 to 5 million units of the HTC M7 in Q1 of 2013. We don’t have official information on price availability but we are looking forward to see this incredible smartphone on the market.
