New leaks on Jelly Bean update list for HTC phones.

New leaks on Jelly Bean update list for HTC phones.

After the HTC One, HTC One S and HTC One X, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update were confirmed, HTC owners should be enthusiastic again and hope their HTC models will receive an update at some point, especially if we consider the expression  “a rumor goes in one ear, then out of many mouths”.  A credible source named Football4PDA leaked some information on Twitter giving us a hint on what future might get us about Android 4.1 Jelly Bean extensive update on HTC phones.

So sit tight and read the list of HTC devices that will be updated to Android Jelly Bean:

  • HTC One X+ (Evitare)
  • HTC One XL (Evita)
  • HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE (Fireball)
  • HTC EVO 4G LTE (Jewel)
  • HTC One SV (K2)
  • HTC One VX (Totem C2)
  • HTC One S (Ville)
  • HTC One S C2 (Ville C2)
  • HTC J (Valente)

As you can see the long awaited to have the update, Droid Incredible 4G LTE and HTC EVO 4G LTE are also included. Don’t forget this is just rumors and probably the list will suffer some changes. Maybe some other devices that were released right on the eve of Android 4.1 adoption are staying in line for the update. HTC mentioned before that devices having less than 512MB would not receive the Android Jelly Bean update. So older smartphones such as the HTC Thunderbolt, HTC Sensation and Desire X are not included in the update list.

This list refers to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update so it seems that these devices will get Android 4.1 update before the Android 4.2 (latest piece of Android software from Google) update will be available.

Any of the smartphones included in the list can be used with any network if it is unlocked. Here at www.htcimeiunlock.com we offer a simple, fast and easy way of unlocking any HTC handset.
