HTC just unveiled its entry-level HTC Desire 301 small budget smartphone, a successor to Desire 300. This phone also happens to be the first smartphone powered by MediaTek SoC, with the processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. Other than this distinguishing feature, remaining specs of the device are quite in line with other entry-level mobile devices in the market, in addition to some HTC customizations. HTC vs Apple – legal battle

The ongoing legal battle between HTC and Apple over the patent rights has finally been concluded, with Apple emerging as a victor. Previously, HTC had accused Apple about infringing its patents rights but the court has given the verdict in favor of Apple. The US International Trade Commission, in its ruling said that Apple has not infringed upon any of HTC-owned patents. HTC Panache 4G (Canada’s name for myTouch 4G)

Mobilcity is the exclusive carrier for the HTC Panache 4G in Canada. The Panache 4G is the same phone as HTC myTouch 4G but with Gingerbread preloaded. The phone  packs a 3.7-inch 800×480 display, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 dual-core processor, support for 1080p 3D video capture along with 3D playback. An important part of the last code update contains codes to unlock HTC Panache. The price is $25 per code and it takes about 10minutes to process an order.
